For Departments

Penn State faculty, staff, students, and visitors can request departmental cards for a number of purposes through the Penn State id+ Office.  Contact the office for more information.

Copier Card

After you deposit funds, you can use your copier card at on-campus copiers that accept LionCash+ - for example, the copiers at the University Libraries.

Request the Card

  • Issue an IDCC to "&HID" (IDHUB Central Desk) for the desired dollar amount plus the $5 new card fee.
  • Write that you need to purchase a new copier card and specify the user and/or the department in the "description" field of the IDCC.
  • An id+ staff member will contact you when the cards are ready for pickup.

Special Program Meal Card

Departments hosting an individual or group may purchase meal cards for participants to use at on-campus dining locations. After the program, you will receive an invoice for the total amount of charges plus a $1 setup fee per card.

Request the Card

  • Complete the requisition form (pdf) and mail it to the id+ Office (20 HUB-Robeson Center).
  • Please allow five to seven days for processing.
  • An id+ staff member will contact you to confirm when the cards are ready for pickup.

Food Services Charge Card

Food Services charge cards let departments charge meals purchased in on-campus dining locations to a University department budget— up to a predetermined dollar amount.

Request the Card

  • Complete the requisition form (pdf) and mail the completed form to the id+ Office (20 HUB-Robeson Center).
  • The $5 card fee is payable via an IDCC to "&HID" (IDHUB Central Desk) and must be received before we issue the card.
  • Write that you need to purchase a new Food Services charge card and specify the user and/or the department in the "description" field of the IDCC.
  • An id+ staff member will contact you when the cards are ready for pickup.

Access Card

Departments hosting visitors who need access to University buildings secured by an electronic door access system may purchase access cards. Each access card has a unique 16-digit card number that may be set up in the University’s door access system by the area’s access coordinator.

Request the Card

  • Complete the requisition form (pdf) and mail the completed form to the id+ Office (20 HUB-Robeson Center).
  • The $2 per card fee is payable via an IDCC to "&HID" (IDHUB Central Desk) and must be received before we issue the cards.
