What is LionCash?

LionCash is Penn State’s online, flexible spending account set up for every student and employee, which is accessed using your Penn State ID. To use it, simply make a deposit online with a credit or debit card or through employee payroll deduction. Once funded, LionCash can be used at over 300 on- and off-campus merchants for dining, shopping, and more—offering a secure, convenient, and cashless way to pay.  

LionCash users will receive a 10% discount at all Penn State-owned on-campus eateries – a great benefit for those without a meal plan! 

Deposits 

Students, faculty, and staff can manage their LionCash account and make online deposits. 

Friends and Family can make a guest deposit into a LionCash account.

Faculty and staff can set up automatic payroll deduction deposits.
